RESEARCH INTEREST: 

 

Presently I am working on synaptic dysfunction in health and disease. To study the dysfunction I am using LTP and LTD like biochemical activities in viable synaptosome preparation from normal versus diseased (e.g. model of morphine-addicted mice) brain area, in particular, its effect on local translation and local signaling activities. I am also observing behavioral abnormalities in the same model.
